Laboratory Testing Policy
Laboratory blood work ordered in the office is often covered by insurance. However, it is your responsibility to verify with your insurer. More specialized lab test that Dr. Harold may require, such as salivary hormone testing, is often not covered and that is payable directly to the labs.
Because blood work is an important piece to the health equation, discounts on comprehensive blood work are available to those without insurance. Call for more information.
Do you take Insurance?
As a policy, I do not compromise you care to fit insurance guidelines. Most people would rather invest in something that works than continue on doing the same old way they have been going with little or no progress.
As of May 1st 2008, insurance billing as form of payment is no longer accepted. However, I will provide an invoice form from which you can send in to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you.
Do you treat kids?
With minors, the atmosphere that influences their health is dependent on the parent or caregiver. Dr. Harold only treats minors that are patients of his and who themselves are following a health program.
What programs are available?
The Wellness Program takes a personalized and comprehensive approach to health care by addressing biochemical and bioenergetic levels. A combination of natural and alternative methods including Body Restoration Technique and Nutrition Response Testing is utilized while applying a preventive and holistic approach to medical data.
Recheck visits allow a monitoring of progress and tweaking your health program to deal with stubborn areas. Scheduled testing will be determined to ensure abnormalities are monitored and to troubleshoot and refine your program to you can achieve your best level of health.
Seasonal Check-Ups are quarterly evaluations to check your progress and allow for a review of your goals, re-examine remaining abnormalities and prepare your body for the requirements and needs of the upcoming season. As the seasons change, so must our regimen be adjusted so our bodies are working harmoniously to ensure healthy living through the seasons.
Are stand-alone services available?
They are. If you are seeking adjunct therapies to your current regimen or simply want your lab results reviewed in a preventive mode, Dr. Harold offers consultation support in your quest for optimizing your health.
Preventive Labwork Analysis. An option available is to have your blood work evaluated using an optimal or preventive view. You may have existing blood work analyzed. Many doctors only use it for diagnosis. Looking at lab blood values for optimizing health and nutrition can be very beneficial. It may reveal a disease process that may already be going on but have not yet shown abnormally in your lab test. A report detailing possible health conditions, dietary information and a supplemental/nutritional protocol will be given to you. Functional labwork analysis is a vital component of a wellness lifestyle.
